is there any way to clean a catalytic converter? need to pass tomorrow
 

I know about the guaranteed to pass stuff, but don't have time to run 2 tanks through my car
I need to pass tomorrow

I will replace it asap, but need to pass smog now so I can keep working to earn the bucks for it

I have read of the cat cleaner fluids

or will alcohol work if my cat is getting old(what would max ratio of gas to alcohol be?)
which it is I am sure,
I believe it is the orig, that would make it 250Kmi old

Sorry to say but there is on reviving method for cats. If you need to pass spend the $100 bucks on a stock replacement cat.

The best thing to do for a cat is to run it for ten or twenty minutes at 3-4000 rpm.
That will burn off any contaminates but that is it as far as I know.

When you get the smog check and you fail you can go to the DMV for an 30 day extension. You need the failed smog check report (VIR)

I have about 40% mix denat alcohol in the tank now

if that dont work I will need to figure out how to get the cat
