Looking at buying a new system for my 1990 civic si. Just wondering which is best bang for buck.
Here are my choices: RS-R Exmag Street Performance Catback Exhaust System Sale Price : 1988-91 Honda CRX $549.00 https://img222.imageshack.us/img222/...rxexmagmg9.jpg OR Tanabe Super Medallion - Hyper Spec 88-91 civic/crx $489.00 https://img157.imageshack.us/img157/...rxhyperki8.jpg |

Re: Exhausts: RSR Exmag vs Tanabe Super Medallion (cbp_crx)
I have read a lot of good things about Tanabe. I am looking at the Super Medallion for my B16 swap. For my application, N/A tuning a B16A2, I am thinking any exhaust with a high flow cat and 2.5" pipe is going to work nicely. I've heard that if you want to go to forced induction then 3" pipe becomes relevant. As for D series motors I don't know what pipe diameter they call for, that's the first thing I would research.

i've got the rsr, but in black... i love it nice & quiet & has 60mm piping which is 2.362**** inces... so its smaller than 2.5 & biger than 2.25 i like it & its low key & no bling bling... i heard it sounds really nice w/ a b16 though

Re: (92civicfreak)
If you are running N/A and have no plans on going turbo, go with an RS*R. You will like it.
|
Re: (90blackcrx)
looks alot like this pic i got years ago. looks great, too bad they are ~2 inch piping and in england

Re: (gringo7718)
that looks good too bad it is only about 2 in. and in england. rsr or tanabe are good products. custom is good too.

Re: (gringo7718)
