Removing my driver's seat, please help!

I have a 97 accord EX. I dropped something very important under the driver's seat. For anyone whose ever experienced this with their accord, its a bitch to get anything out from under there! I need to remove the driver's seat but I have no idea how to do it. Can anyone give me some advice?

its easy one bolt on each side of the seat I think it is a 14mm

remove the plastic covers on the feet of the seat. slide seat back, remove two front bolts, slide seat forward, remove two rear bolts. remove seat.

since this thread is kinda over I'll hijack it instead of creating a new one. I'm having trouble with the rear bolt on the right if your looking at it from the rear. I cant fit the wrench in there and my seat refuses to slide. Despite that I dont think that's whats in the way. It seems to be the rail. Any advice?

I think on that one I had to use a smaller ratchet piece to get it to fit, but I don't see why you would have problems, why can't you slide the seat all the way forward? just shoot some WD40 on the rails and slip it forward

nah I found out that is part of the rail that slides forward. I couldnt get it to slide because there was change in it, lol. Which was my reasoning for taking the seat out, so I was in a dilema. Can't move the seat cause theres change but I can't remove the seat because it won't move.. ouch. Anyway, after scraping for to long of an amount of time and getting all the change out, it finally decided to move. You don't want to know how much dirt was under that seat... Thanks for the help though.

Err... so you mean the "change" your talking about was debris/dirt? If so...that's gross.

uhh...4 bolts...remove the plastic covers..and undo the seat belt thing...if you have one...

Re: (KageOokami)

if you read my reply you'd see I did it. As for KageOokami, I mean change, not funk and dirt. There was a nickel stuck in the tracks bad..

I'm swapping out the Stock Ex leather seats in my gf's accord for racing seats but I wanted to know, since the driver side is power seat, by unplugging it when installing racing seats, will it set-off any lights in the car ie warning light and what not. Also, do we need to disconnect the battery when removing the power seats so that the airbag won't go off or will it?

No, I have cloth lx seats in my EX, and no lights.
