how do i tighten my AC belt and my Power Steering belt?

how do i tighten both my AC belt and my Power steering belt. 1995 integra Gs-R

i had this place install them cause i couldnt find out how to loosen the ac belt and one of the 2 belts squeel like a mother fucker.

my friend says that if you keep the belt squeeling that it will kill some kind of bearings?

you need a 10mm ratched and socket..
look down and you will find between the AC and the cranck pulley an adjustable pulley righty loosen up the pulley and adjust screw right. that will take care of AC belt.

near the power steering you will find and adjustable screw and it works the same way as the AC pulley concept..
stop by and Ill get id done....

do you have the link of removing the A/C because the middle pulley of the A/C compressor fell off while driving. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emdgust.gif http://images.honda-tech.com/set1//smile/emcrook.gif

this is all from memory...

p/s belt is really easy. loosen the two mounting bolts, then tighten/loosen the wingbolt to increase/decrease tension on the belt. once it's at the tension you're looking for, tighting the two mounting bolts.

the a/c belt is a bit more tedious to work with if the p/s stuff is in the way.

there are two bolts to work with here. one sits horizontally, from the idler pulley (the one pulley on the a/c belt that is not attached to anything).

loosen that bolt. then, the adjusting bolt sits vertical to the mounting bolt. there is a locking nut on it so you'll want to loosen that and then tighten/loosen the bolt until the tension is where you want it to be. tighten the locking nut, then tighten the mounting bolt.

that's it. if you can get your hands on a helms manual, this will be much clearer.
