do you know Honda Civic Lug nut Torque specs for Gorilla Lugs ?

Is 80 lb the standard torque for tightening stock bolts on most vehicles? If not, I have a Honda Accord 92 EX sedan. What should I torque the wheel bolts to? What is the size for standard wheel bolts? Thanks.

wheel bolt? are you driving a german?

those nuts are 12x1.5mm thread size, 80 foot/lb torque spec, please apply anti-seize on the stud

make sure you retorque it after a week or so, new wheels, new lugs' painted surface will sometime loose the wheel, even if you torque it down.

Going to be taking off my wheels to adjust my coilovers more often, so I figure when I put them back on I have to make sure they are torqued properly.

Are wheel bolts only a term used for german car bolts? What are they called for other cars? heh https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

for most japanese car the stud is mounted onto the hub, and you put the wheel in the stud and put the lug nuts to tighten it down

VW loves to use bolts, the stud is part of the nut lugs

and something about coilover, i always cover the thread with a masking tape, the part right below the perch gets sand blasted all the time, if you put masking tape there, you don't have to dust off and wash the area next time you adjust them.

80 lb-ft is the torque spec for every Honda and Acura car I'm familiar with, including Civics, Accords, Integras, and even the NSX.

Back when I was with VWs it was, I think, 88 for alloy rims. More for steelies.
