Car shakes at speed over 60 mph..

Car shakes bad at speed over 60 mph.I just changed the front engine mount thinking It will stop all the vibration but no...It is sumthing else...Help me..

Can Sway Bar Brushings be the cause because right side brushings are bad...
Can It be wheel alignment...

At High Speeds the passenger seat shakes bad also.
Another question, How often should I change my transmission fluid and can bad transmission fluid cause the engine to heat up..

Its a 95 Accord EX 4 dr..

A likely problem is that your tires are unbalanced. Do you notice some vibration at lower speeds? Does your your steering wheel seem to shake a bit when driving at lower speeds? Can you see your steering wheel shaking back and forth when you let it go while driving?

If so, you should take your car in to a tire shop and have them check the balance of your tires.

First I would have the tires balanced and checked for uneven wear and damage.
Then I would have an alignment done.
Bad sway bar bushings will cause a rattle in cornering and extra body roll.
Transmission fluid should be changed every 30K miles or less. Also bad fluid won't make your engine overheat. How hot is it getting and when does it heat up?

Ok I will get my tires balance...
Sometimes car use to overheat when temp. was hot outside and usually happens during street road driving Not during Highways.. As soon as car moves temp. comes back down..

thanx mate

with your ignition turned on (engine not running) turn the a/c on and see if both fans are running.

jack the front of the car up and then try to move the tire left to right on each front wheel. IF you can you got bad tie rod end if you can move itup and down. you got ball joint problems.

My 4th gen would do the same thing. Like the others said, check for uneven tire wear and get them balanced. It also could be a warped brake rotor or a frozen brake caliper... does the car still shake while braking or pull hard to one side? Mine did and it turned out the passenger side front brake caliper had frozen on the rotor. Anyway, hope that helps a little... good luck! https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

All answers up above are right.
MooGoCow3 good shot with a 30k trans flush service, 99% of the people dont even know there is a fluid in there, lol.

I worked on bunch of 90-93 Accords and usually, the upper ball joint goes bad on them.
Tie rods? Havent seen one yet (those fkrs are boolet proof).
You said that pass. seat is shaking. Check your axle.
Warped rotor wont cause vibration at high speed, unless you pressing the brake. Then your whole car will shake, like crazy.
Check tires balance first though. Check if tires are cupped (that'll do the shake), thats your struts doing the damage.
Let me know
