CRV hauling ability

does anybody know if you can haul a 4x8 piece of plywood in a crv? i'd love to get rid of my ranger for a crv, but i need to haul plywood every so often.

Roof rack? I really don't see any way to fit them inside the car.

I'm pretty sure an element will but not sure about a CR-V.

I'd think twice about strapping down a 4x8 plywood on top of a CRV. What will most likely happen is the wind at speed will actually lift the wood right off the car. Disaster will insue.

I would find someone that has a truck or have it delivered.

You can always get a small trailer to haul it around.

i think you guys are right. the trailer would be the way to go. what kind of milage are you guys getting in your crv's? are the 5spd or auto? is there much difference?

If you need a vehicle to haul plywood, why get a CRV and a trailer? I mean I know it will be nicer to drive than a pickup, but I can't imagine running around with a trailer would be much fun. Why not just upgrade your Ranger to a newer Tacoma or something that can still haul what you need it to?

simply for the fact that i would rather drive a honda everyday. if i had the money, i would much rather have a tacoma than my ranger. there's just something about american vehicles that makes me want to vomit.
