Car/steering wheel shake violently when braking hard/higher speeds

I have searched around but it doesnt seem like anyone has the exact problem...
My rotors arnt the cause of this violent shaking, and its not a pull?
Im kinda lost well the other day i was cruising down somestreet doing about 70 soo i go to brake and everything got outta control steering wheel moves 2 inches back and forth real fast and the entire front end is wobblin around. Soo i come to a stop and after that I drive normal again and at low speeds its undetectable not even rotor warpage?
Please help me out any ideas are helpful

what would make you out rule warper rotors?

what i would do is take off the front wheels and check yoru bushings, see if your getting any play up & down and side to side, check if anything is loose.

also if you have the front wheels off and the car secured on a lift or jack stands have a buddy accelerating while very lightly touching the brakes so its making contact and see what exactly is 'vibrating' or 'shaking' down there.

its your rotors. they dont always shake at low speed..mine would only shake above 40 or 50 when breaking.

Yea sounds like wheel bearings. I just answered a post about this right under yours lol. Mine were shot about a year ago and my car did the same exact thing like that when I'd brake. Try what IVI said about checking for play, nut if that doesn't happen, it still does not rule the wheel bearings out. Neither of my wheels did that and trust me my wheel bearings were totally shot.

well the reason i figure its not warped rotors is because of how violently it shakes, i have felt warped rotors and they are usually a slight shake this is different and just started usually rotors worsen to the point of them needing to be cut.
I had these brakes cut not soo long ago either
But i will take the wheels off and take a look at some of the brake components to see what could be causing this.
How would wheel bearings cause something sooo violent like this?
If anyone has anyother ideas Id appreciate it

Well, warped rotors would be my first guess. Second would be maybe not aligned properly, and grabbing the grooves in the road. I doubt its a front end part, cuz you'd feel it at slow speeds. I would however go get the brakes looked at, and see if someone can check the runout in them (amount of warpage .000 to .005 should be undetectable, anything more and you'll start to notice it usually). I'd really venture to say its warped rotors.

hrm, I think my guessing was wrong Im going to mic the rotors or just buy some cheapo new ones since i think thye might be horribly warped afterall https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emthdown.gif
I rock a set of 4 hole old skool crx wheels and they have next to no ventalation compared to my other wheel and i think the quick acceleration than the need for quick deceleration has fried the shit outta the rotors https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emsad.gif
If this is not the problem i will let u guys know

there's a guy in delaware selling two brembo blank rotors for 50 bucks..i would've picked those up had i remember such when i changed my rotors last week

i had the same problem on my 95 accord i replaced just about everything on the front breaks still did it check bearings fine ball joint fine bushings fine the i replaced both axels then it quit. so make sure you check everything....
