car starts for a few seconds then dies...

I already did a search but most of the threads dont have the final answer. The are no codes and all 4 wires are sparking. The car starts fine but if I give it gas it chokes and starts to die. Sounds like a typical fuel pump problem. Put a gauge on it and start it. Watch if the PSI drops when it dies. If it doesnt drop then continue further troubleshooting elsewhere.
