I'm assuming its stick since you said fly wheel and not torque convertor. I believe your clutch is starting to wear out and is starting to slip.

Is it almost a bouncy feel to the car, just after you release your clutch?

not to hijack the thread, but i see now point in creating a new one... my 5th gen auto will shake when shifting up at a certain point. somewhere between 50 and 60 mph. it will shudder pretty bad, but if you lightly press the gas it goes awat. when i let off the gas to let the car slow down by itself (lets so at 60), the car has a horrible time shifting. every downshift is jerky, etc... ideas? it's most likely the tranny seeing as it has 220k on it, but theres a small part of me hoping its something else!

Could also be a tranny mount going bad.

couldnt it be a motor mount as well?

Yeah, it could be. I would start by checking all your mounts. |
Re: (lowriden_acura)
i just had my clutch replaces during the summer so it shouldn be the clutch
it shakes real bad if i release the clutch fast, i can even hear the sound from the suspension or something. but if i release it slowly, it will grind i guess its the engine or tranny mount. do u guys kno where to get it done and how much would it cost |
start checking axles too i just fixed the problem with my car because i had a passenger side axle that was binding due to the inner joint being to long
