symptoms of a bad IAC ?
 
i have a horrilbe idle problem the thing revs and drops revs and drops and i was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem, i have also just sprayed down the entire intake with 3M throttle body/carb cleaner and it just started after this... help me out if u got/had/heard of the problem https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

edit: check ur vaccum hoses.

nope its your IAC,you need to change it,and if you do might aswell change your throttle cable.only reason is becuse it just happen to me in my golf.and its good to change the cable anywys, cuz im preety sure u drive hard so its probably stretched.

i dont think ill need to replace it aslong as i clean the crap out of it and let it dry and for the throttle cable its adjustable sooo i can just tighten the screw a bit i just got the specs off alldata today soo illl look into that thanks alot
