Steering Wheel "WOBBLES" @ Low Speed, Drives Straight Though....

This is for my girls 99 Tiburon

She was backing in a parking lot, no more than 15mph and rolled the car onto a snowbank type deal, the back right side of the car was off the ground and she couldnt move anywhere, I came over and had to dig her rear tire out so the car wasnt supported with snow anymore and just fucking pushed her hard and the car moved.

She drove the car home byherself 50 miles, no complaints, gets on her way to work in the morning and the wheel "wobbles" under 40mph, its like maybe 1/2" wobbling back in forth when you let go of the wheel but the car drives straight as sin

Some ass at work told her she bent her rim which obviously didnt happen hitting soft snow and rolling up it, but what could it be, I dont want her to get overcharged at the service place Friday.

Thanks guys

i would think rim too but not in soft snow, maybe there was contact before hand or LCA could be bent?

Possibly snow, or ice packed in the wheel throwing it off balance.

its def snow packed into the wheels or wheel this throws the ballance off a hell of allot and makes the steering wheel/ car wobble this happend to me and i thought my car was f*cked up untill i realised that it was just iced packed into the wheel..if its not that then u might have bent a rim slightly which i doubt but the prob def has to do with ballancing or bending of a wheel

figured Id update this, it was her front left tire out of round or something

She just opted to replace both front tires since they had 55k on them anyways

Cleared it right up
