You can tell us what year/version of Accord... They're not ALL exactly the same.

Check either air bubbles in your cooling system, or maybe a cable disconnected from the control knob to the actual valve.

If the heater core and fan blower are recieving power, replace the heater core.

underneath the dashboard in the center against the firewall.

WHat about that sensor on the thermostat...Could that cause the lack of heat...?

That sensor sends the signal to your temperature gauge in your dashboard.

Sounds like the heater core.

First check the simple stuff. My '98 temperature knob broke at the little collar that pressed onto the shaft. You turn the knob but it doesn't turn the shaft. Use a little JBWeld, or else the knob is pretty cheap.

That knob turns an electrical control. There's a servo somewhere under the dash, with a cable that moves the actual heater valve. Check whether it's moving. Follow the heater hoses from the engine, one has the valve on it before going thru the firewall. It's close to the firewall, mid-height, sorta forward from the glovebox. That's got a lever that's worked by a cable. Turn the car on first, then have someone turn the heater control back & forth, while you watch for that thing to move. If that's OK, THEN you can worry about the heater core.

And like I said, check for air in the cooling system...

I will agree with JimBlake on this one. You more then likely have an air pocket stuck in the system some were.

there is a little lever under the passenger side of the dash, its right there in the open. pull that back as far as you can.. you should have heat.

Re: No heat in my accord!!!

Hi guys,

I'm having the same problem with a 1995 Accord my friend has loaned me.

He pulled the post with the wire in the engine compartment to the right and back, but it only goes as far as 90 degrees (perpendicular with the right-front wheel). Should it go back further? After he adjusted it, the air has gone from cold to barely lukewarm.

Two posters mentioned a lever under the dash. Is this one inside the cabin, or is it the same lever I'm referring to?

Thanks!
