Default Shocker: man connected to Republican voting firm throws away registration forms

In Harrisonburg, VA, where I'm guessing a lot of college students didn't register the way they were supposed to.

Everybody was so shocked that nobody knew what to do about it.

The sheriff knew that it had to be illegal but he'd never heard of such a thing. He had to consult the Commonwealth's Attorney for how to proceed and for what, exactly, to arrest the guy.

But, the irony of the party crying about voter fraud COMMITTING voter fraud is not lost on me.

Now all we need is for one of the right wing numb nuts to come and contradict themselves in rationalizing this, and then this thread will be complete.

Dumbass. If they HAD IDs, they wouldn't NEED them, and thus wouldn't be able to be DEFRAUDED.

Not sure how requiring voter IDs would help here.

They can have all the ID they need and it won't help when they go to vote and they're not on the list because some douchebag threw away their registration card (most likely due to the party they registered as).

I bet you would like to dismiss this obvious infringement of prospective voters' rights by implying that he acted alone. Clearly you value civil liberties... not.

btw isn't it about that time during a presidential election year for the GOP to crank up their robo-call machines, and then trying to blame it on someone else? Or does that not usually happen until the week before the election so investigations of it can't be completed until after election day?

Obvious voter fraud at hands of Republicans?

Clearly Ross is a Progressive operative who orchestrated the whole thing.

The funny thing is that Bain capital has some pretty close ties to the makers of the electronic voting machines that will be used to calculate the vote in...Ohio!

It's like 2000 and 2004 all over again.
