Rubbing compound
I used rubbing compound on my daughters TL and came out with these little white marks. I tried black wax, that helped a little.
What can I do short of a paint job?
Thanks

Did you try wet sanding with 2500+ grit and then buffing again... or maybe even using a clay bar kit on it? Is that residue on top of paint? Or from accidental paint removal?

wet sand 1500 and then 2000 or finer and use Meg 105 an follow with meg 205 and it should be good, but it may need to be re-cleared when you sand youll find out.

Re: Rubbing compound
you cant cut and polish those out.
they'll keep reacting and cracking the paint even if you try to paint on top of it... you're going to have to sand it all the way down till its completely gone. then repaint.

Re: Rubbing compound
you dont typically see it on cars that have original paint... but it can happen to any car that has been repainted. the paint sprayed, reacts with the paint underneath, or the paint sprayed was sprayed too thick. a lot of times now a days it appears that newer cars were taken to a cheap shop to get repaired, and that shop used cheap paint products.
