Removing paint off my LS meshies?
So, for some strange reason, my LS meshies are painted silver (cheap looking)... And I would like to remove the paint and give it the polish raw silver finish. I have already purchased some "aircraft paint remover," but I have a few questions:
Would the aircraft paint remover damage my tires?
After removing the paint, I should polish it using some type of polisher, correct?
Do I need to apply some clear coat? If so, what kind would you recommend (preferably rattle can, please)
If I do need to polish them and clear coat my wheels, how would I go about on doing that? I mean, after apply polish to my wheels, would the clear coat stick on it?

Re: Removing paint off my LS meshies?
air craft is great stuff to use to remove paint its what i used when i painted my wheels try not to get it on the tires if you do whip off as soon as you can it will make a blister type bubble on the tire you could use index cards between wheel and tire it helps! and polishing tires takes a lot of time and patience this is what i was gonna do but didnt have the time its alot of sanding!
