Proper fix for severe paint fading?

Proper fix for severe paint fading?
Gentlemen,
I'm hoping one of you experts could chime in here. I've got some serious fading on the quarter panel of my 25 year old s-chassis.
Is it reasonable to fix just the faded area since the rest of the paint is in good shape? Full repsray?
I apologize it's not a honda but this has been such a great resource thought the years I'd rather run it by you folks first.
Thanks

if its just that area that needs a fixin' then you can just get that area blended to match the rest of the quarterpanel. no need for a full spray of the entire car unless the entire car looks like this.

Take it to a good body shop. That panel will need to be repainted and the adjacent panels blended for it to look right. A good body shop will have test cards for the different paint variants for that color code so it should come out a close match. For those that don't know the paint code on the door jamb really only refers to the standard variant for that paint code. I've seen 20 different variants for one paint code and some of them vary, a lot. Both in color and how fine/coarse the metallic is.

Shouldn't need to blend into other panels just blend the area. The whole panal will have to be re cleared.
How do you not know that with all that Norton gear in the background? Unless you want to sell it all... I would trade you some paint and clear work
