Default Primer sitting length

How long should I let my car sit with primer b4 sanding and then painting?

you dont have to wait a day for primer to dry !! lol...wait like 30mins tops and you can wetsand it no prob...flash times are like 10-15 mins for basecoat and clearcoat is a little longer. make sure you always go LIGHT to MEDIUM to HEAVY on coats...only time you go "heavy" is on the gloss but not heavy enough to make it run...jus to get the shine you want.

i would wait a day if you have the time. if you sand to early b4 it is fully cured it can shrink and show all your sand scratches later down the road. prep is key to a good paint job. the primer you use has a p-sheet follow the dry time b4 sanding.

u can get a speed primer. dries in less then an hour... sand... you're good to go.
i dont know why jdmstatus13 felt like talkin about base n clearcoat. ignore him

why would he ignore me ?? i gave him practically the save advice you did moron...sept i figured if he didnt know flash times for PRIMER, he prolly didnt know em for the rest.

I wait 1 day no matter what ... I want that fully dried.... What's the different of painting a car the next day???? Makes no sence u put all the work on the body and what not to hurry up the process that's going to make the paint stick
