I'd like to paint-match all of my polyurethane plastic moldings and my type r front lip but have been told many paints will only end up cracking and flaking off over time since they don't stick well to the poly. Does anyone with painting experience or expertise know of any kinds of paints or other entities that I may be able to use to paint my poly parts and have it look crisp/clean and not end up flaking off, cracking, or anything else lame like that???

I used adhesion promoter.. 3m 5907 is the product I used.. hasnt chipped or flaked off

Awesome thanks! What part of the process did you use this? Did you dry sand, wash, use an oil/grease remover or cleaner, primer, wet sand, paint, etc?

Use a proper paint adhesion promoter. 05907 was never designed for this purpose.
