Painting car myself - anyone use automotivetouchup.com or where to get paint !searched!
I am painting my car myself because I am poor. automotivetouchup.com has
1 quart primer
1 quart base
1 quart clear
In my factory color for $161.87.
How much would I need to paint a whole car inside, out, and underneath?
Has anyone had any experience with automotivetouchup.com's paint quality and customer service?
Can anyone recommend a place to get paint from that is not too expensive but good quality?

I have looked at paint scratch, they are a bit more expensive. I do have local stores, what should I expect to pay? Is it comparable to what I have posted above (price)?
777sc pmed you back.
I want to finish the whole car (inside, outside, and underneath) in the OEM color (I willl be using por15 on rust prone areas first) It is a porsche 914 BTW.

You do not need 1 gallon of primer if your paint is still in decent condition. just sand the clear with 600 grit. Primer where there is body work done. Go to a local paint supply and ask for a brand name omni if you do not want to spend a lot of money. PPG makes omni. Before you spray make sure the car is wiped down with degreaser, ppg also sells this. Then wipe the whole car with a tack cloth. If you need any help just pm me.

I have and would never use them again. There website is wrong and misleading they have the wrong colors listed in there site for the cars I was ordering for, it was listed for a 1996 model I have a 1995 model I pointed it out to them, talked to 3 different people, the website was wrong they could see it but told me it was my fault. They did not care about the mistakes on there website just kept blaming me. There mistake $19. can of paint and because there website was wrong they would not replace it over $19 can of paint this should tell you something about there core business practice. Companies like this should not be in business, so I guess it's a crap shoot with them if you get the correct order through there misleading and wrong website your good, but if the order is wrong kiss your money goodbye because there do not care !! $19. and the truth will set you free THIS THE TRUTH!!! Don't buy from this place
