Paint Transfer Removal
Someone backed into my civic last weekend and luckily just 2 small paint chips, some transfer, and a dent in the plastic. I need to remove the transfer, and the articles I've seen online give 2 different methods:
1. Use rubbing compound, then a polisher, and a coat of wax.
2. No rubbing compound, just polish the transfer off and a coat of wax.
Which would be best? I'm going to go over the entire vehicle with the polish to remove the swirl marks from the last owner, and hitting the few scuffed spots i have with the rubbing compound prior.
What's the best thing to do as I've never used a rubbing compound before.
