i just checked and i did use the metalcast primer, which is basically just silver paint. i used reg clearcoat. it still didnt come out the same color and the only way it think it would is if the part was chromed or had a chrome-like finish.

Here is one I got powdercoated a while back.. On my old 99' civic coupe, went with the car when sold...

And this is my newest, I traded a primered b16 one for it. the guy wanted an OEM look I guess...
