Need help with 92 prelude head light assembly clearance. (With picture)
I played a game of chicken with a deer and lost. Now before I can drive my car on the road again in my State I have to replace the driver side headlight assembly. The back of the headlight assembly doesn't want to go into the opening and I do not want to try forcing it to much (for fear of cracking the glass). " see picture "The broken original one was in there really tight. It seems like the brace across the top that the two 10mm bolts screw down through into the top of the headlight assembly is bent down a little. If that's the case, a come along attached to a strong oak tree limb should be able to pull it up enough to fix that right? Maybe the bumper is bent in, up, or both.
Can some one tell me about how roomily or tight should the headlight assembly fit into this opening? Can someone send me the measurements for the yellow and blue arrows in the picture please? . I could take out the passenger side light and measure but then I'll have to figure out how to realign the headlights.
My vacation time is nearly used up and this car is my only means I have to get to and fro work so please help. Thanks guys. p/s I took out the fender bolts.

Remove your other side headlight and use matching holes from the passenger side to driver side is going to give the best measurement. Use cross measurements so like a "X" and use that.
