Lots of questions , HELP !
i have a few dents sanded down to bare metal patched up with bondo , and now i need to prime!
the area around the bare metal is down to the OEM primer,
I'm trying to figure out what type of primer to use or what primer is compatible with the factory primer (the OEM primer)
but i cant find any websites or how to figure out what type of primer THE FACTORY USED
I want to paint large areas and i cant scuff it down because the car was painted before and theres a layer of primer on f*cking top of my OEM color coat so i want to sand that sh*t off , please help!
im planning on using some enamel black paint , so i want to make sure it can go over the oem factory too!

You need to scuff or sand I assume spray paint off. 80 grit, then use a epoxy primer over everything and 2k on top of that. Sand the 2k with 400 wet, epoxy over that thats been reduced to seal (the make of the paint will tell you how much to reduce). Then base and clear. You use epoxy to make a corrosion inhibitor base, then build on top of that.
PPG, Dupont, are good brands to work with... What brand of
Factory black paint over bare metal is E coat, you cant really buy that but epoxy works in much the same way as E coat. Any 2K Surfacer primer is going to be good. This is going to take you some time, so I hope you are up for it... I hope you used Hard blocks like durablock or others the same as you will have waves in your panals.. Also Have you used glaze over your bondo? Bondo is very porous and can damage a paint job. Glaze is not so much and will give you a smoother finish.
