Default Aftermarket and OEM front bumper fitment.

First of all, here's some background information. I just bought an EM1 with a repainted front bumper. I know it's not the factory paint job because those little foglight placeholders are painted over. There is an aftermarket grille (no place for Honda emblem). Also, I assume the bumper has been replaced and is an aftermarket unit because it has a sticker inside with paint instructions and a note regarding its pre-priming.

Anyway, I took the bumper off today so I could remove the headlights for thorough polishing away from the paint. Now the bumper won't go back on. Obviously fitment was an issue before because some of the plastic plugs weren't aligned right and there are some "new" holes. In the end the bumper suffered some damage and I'm considering just replacing it with an OEM part and having it painted properly. My question is, will the OEM bumper give me a hard time like this aftermarket one (actually making the one I have now true OEM spec) or will it go right on?

most aftermarket bumpers dont fit correctly and need mods to work. oem will fit perfectly if your radiator support and such are straight.
