S2000 F20C powered AE86 Corolla Dyno!!!
This is high compression built F20C that i built and swapped into my buddies AE86 corolla. The car is running on the stock ecu. Went rich as hell when Vtec hit running between 10.5-11:1 above 6k rpms.
Made 215rwhp, 145rwtq. Not too bad at all. We are hoping for 245-255whp after the AEM standalone goes in here very very soon. It can definetly benifit from some added timing up top and get the a/f where it should be.
The shop owner said he hasnt seen an s2000 motor make over 200whp on the older model dynojet that it was dynod on. So that was pretty satisfying as well to know.
Here is the vid:

Motor consists of a Golden Eagle sleeved F20 block at 87mm, 87mm CP 12.5:1 pistons, block shaved down, head shaved down, modified oem honda headgasket, ACL race rod and main bearings, Brian Crower Stage 2 cams, stock s2k header, stock intake manifold, short ram intake, full 3" catless exhaust, aem wideband. Car will eventually see a direct port nitrous setup down the road, but first the tuning.

Nice, I'd switch to a better header and intake setup. It's restricting the power, especially with that compression.

Yeah he is planning on getting the Topspeed manifold that made 15whp on a bone stock motor. The header from what ive seen is not bad at all even on built motors. Companies are having a hard time getting more than 3-5whp gain from a header even on modified motors. The stock header is beefy as hell. The intake manifold i can see gaining with a bigger throttle body as well. But tune is first, then intake mani and throttle body.
I can see this motor hitting 260-270whp in the near future.

because a proper made intake manifold will ALWAYS out perform ITB's and thats a proven fact. Plus ITB's are not exactly the most streetable things.
Fastest H22 powered honda.....Runs a proper intake manifold not ITB's.

Soo much money for such little preformance numbers. Still nothing sounds like an f20c at 9k and up! You sure do sound fast at that rpm. I bet that Ae86 is a blast to drive on any road course.

Its on a stock ecu man, cant expect soo much. Here is another thing, Most ap1's dyno about 210-215whp on a newer dynojet, the shop owner made it clear that he hasnt seen an s2k dyno over 200whp so that tells me one thing as well. His dyno is reading a little lower than most dynos.
Another thing was just switching from a stock ecu to an aem unit on another guys swap he gained almost 30whp just tuning a stock f20 motor not to mention this is a high comp built motor.
This is why i said i can see this motor making 260+ on that same dyno after tuning and the intake manifold w/larger throttle body.
Time will tell. Just keep an eye out for it.
