I've done the big dish wheel thing on my past cars, didn't want to do anything to affect gas mileage negatively on this one. Wheels that where 15" + lighter than stock were a must.

Really? You think so?
The environmental impact on those things is heavier than a Hummer H3...

Diggin the sidewall. I've never liked low pro's; bent/broken rims are a pain in the ***.

putting rsz-rs on the car probably dropped the mpg rating by 10 miles.

grippy tires wouldn't be your friend either!

Tanabe is releasing both the concept G and the medalion touring for the prius soon. Might ****** one up.

Haha. The RSZ-R's are about 5 lb's lighter than my stock wheels, still running stock tires. They were about 11lb's, my stock are 16lb's each. I've seen my mpg improve about 3-4 mpg it seems.

There actually is a decent argument about how these car's aren't too green in the long run. If you do some quick research, you'll find from production to scrap yard; an H3 costs less per mile and is friendlier on the environment compared to the prius. Haha, either way OP, I would definitely give you the thumbs up if I saw you driving on those wheels.

Except not. It was a poorly researched article. Buying ANY new car is going to have a negative environmental impact. Generally we'd all be "greener" driving 15 year old used cars and recycling their usage instead of buying new ones.

I have seen some JDM parts options for the Prius, such as the aero kits, undertrays, etc. I was actually looking at one when I was car shopping. Cool cars and a very small enthusiast community means you'd stand out. I mean enthusiast as in real driver, not 45 in fast lane enthusiast.
