Hello all, I am hoping the community here will help with a technical problem I'm having.

I have an Acura MDX from 2001, and I am trying to replace the basic trip computer and radio with my own electronics.

However, the trip computer backside has two ports: one green and one blue as seen here:

I need to know what the protocol is used for these ports, but I have been so far unable to determine it.

If the protocol isn't obd2, would someone be kind enough to post the wiring diagrams to the car? I want to attempt to interface my computer with it.

As for the radio; I haven't looked too much into this, but wiring diagrams for this would be much appreciated too.

Pretty sure the MDX even the 01 is OBD2 CAN bus protocol. Not just your regular obd2. Basically what that means is everything in the car is interfaced together via CAN bus.

The ecu, body control module, cluster, and trip computer.
