Re: LH slide door not working correctly .
While I do not own an Odyssey (I have a Pilot), I do own a 2001 Ford Windstar van that makes use of the same general sliding door contact system where the sliding door has the spring-loaded contacts that physically touch (make contact) with the door jam post contacts when closed. In the past, my electric sliding door lock on one of the doors just stopped working and I found that the tips of the spring-loaded contacts appeared to be coated with some dirt/grease/corrosion. As a wild guess, I used a small piece of sandpaper and gently cleaned off the tips of the spring-loaded contacts and the contact areas on the door jam to make sure they were making a good electrical connection. Once I had cleaned them and closed the door, my electric door locks worked perfectly from then on.
I would recommend giving this a try to see if it will work for you. Hopefully, this will work for your situation.
Best wishes,
Ron
