Clicking noise when make turn with the turning signals on ..
My new 2012 Pilot EX-L is now over 1000KM on it. I just started to notice that it makes several loud click noises when I making a turn with the turning signals on. This is not the normal turning signal's relay click, when I rotate the steering wheel making turn, there are other several laud click sound, for example 1/8 circle I hear once, then 1/4 circle another one.. It sounds like the turning signal is making that noise because when the turning signal is off I couldn't hear such click when making turns.
What is this clicking noise and is this also normal? thanks

The most common problem is the coupling located at the bottom of the steering shaft.
If you remove your floor mat, then pull the carpet back you'll expose a plastic boot at the bottom of the steering shaft. Remove this boot and you'll see a coupling joint secured with two 10mm bolts. Loosen the 10mm bolts, slide the coupling downwards, but not all the way off. Apply generous amounts of grease to the splines on the shaft, slide the coupling back up into position, secure it down by tightening the 10mm bolt, apply some more grease to the joint itself, then reattach the boot, put the carpet back, and see if that solved your issue.
