A/C Clutch on 2007 Odyssey - Force on
The a/c clutch is not turning on in my 2007 Honda Odyssey.
Before I bring it in to be looked at ($$$), I wanted to check make sure it is not too high or low of pressure and to rule out a relay.
What I would like to do is force/jump the a/c clutch so it will turn on and I can then check the pressure to make sure the coolant is not the issue.
So my question is; how do I force the a/c clutch to go on.
I've read some threads on the subject, but from what I can see, the relay does not have a diagram on it to tell which connections to connect to (or I am looking at the wrong relay.
Can anyone give me details on how to do this on the 2007 Odyssey.
Thanks,
Sean

Re: A/C Clutch on 2007 Odyssey - Force on
Sounds like you're trying to form a bad idea. you can blow all kinds of fuses and what nots if you jump the wrong pins or "force" the compressor on. it doesn't come on for a reason, lol. tryin bumping the relay with a wrench or something, tap it lightly. if the compressor comes on you need to replace the clutch, stator, and relay.

Try swapping a fan relay from radiator or Condenser with the coil relay. if your brave, stick your hand down and grab the compressor connector on bottom of passenger fan shroud. See if you have battery voltage with ac system on and vehicle running. If you have voltage there, you will be looking at clutch and coil At the least.
