Another Ody Transmission Thread, but different
I'm having transmission problems in my 2001 Odyssey.
I pulled codes and got P0740 and P0780.
It is not having trouble shifting from 1st to 2nd.
The problem is from Neutral to First.
When I take it out of park, and into drive, it just slips.
It feels like the torque converter is gone.
Everyone I've talked to says the transmission is destroyed, just replace.
Is there any chance that the torque converter or the solenoid switches may just be faulty?
I only need to keep this van running for two more months.
Are there any cheap fixes?
