Wife just took her pilot in to read a code for the airbag idiot light. They said it is a grounded out wire/open circuit in the passenger side seat...pilot has leather seats(power and heaters).
Do I get a new seatbelt switch right away or pull seat out and see if there is a bare wire grounding out? They want to charge us $300 to just look at it and find it. I am mechanically inclined and could do this myself if I can get pointed in the right direction.
Throw a meter on the seatbelt switch?
