Well, actually, I let one of my coworkers post this and I told him to be as descrpitive as possible. We work at the dealership and we are out of ideas.
Here is what I know has been done.
- Checked the fuel pump relay
- replaced the IG1 relay
- Checked the Gauge control Module
- Checked the Cluster
- Replaced the PCM
- Checked numerous grounds that Tech Line told him to
- Preformed Pin Drag tests on all 46P connectors and the Gauge control Module 36P connector
- Followed ETM for Body Code (can't remember which one it was) and found nothing wrong
- Drove for 100+ miles with no problem
This is a very intermittant problem and has only happened to the tech one time. When that did happen, I think that was the time a Body DTC appeared. On that instance, he replaced the PCM, and a few days later, it stalled on the customer.
This has been in the shop at least 3-4 times and Tech line leads to the stupidest things to test (battery cable, fuses, grounds) and we come up with nothing every time. If it is this intermittant, He was hoping to see if anyone has had this same problem so that we could compare what the cause and correction has been.
Any help would be appreciated because our Service Manager is involved and it has been a nightmare dealing with this car.
