2006 pilot help needed
Dear experts
I have pilot 2006, alternator got damaged yesterday,
Today I sent pilot for alternator replacement ,replaced with second hand original denso, now after replacement voltage when car on is about 14 to 14.4
I noticed when driving sometimes voltage drops till 12.7 for some seconds and then back again up till 14.2, my question is this normal behavior or may have problem

Re: 2006 pilot help needed
14.4v (+/-) is normal when the alternator is charging the battery. 12.6v is nominal battery voltage.
Sounds like your system is operating normally. You will typically see 14.4v when the HVAC, headlights or other high load options are operating... or after a start and the alternator is recharging the battery.
You can observe the voltage variations yourself by purchasing an inexpensive OBD2 adapter and $5 for Torque Pro app (Android).
I like the super mini size adapter so it doesn't intrude into the footwell area.
