2006 Odyssey lost wheel well cover
Hi Forum,
So while driving along my right front wheel well cover plastic sheet (don't know what it's calledd?) Came off, wpapped around the wheel, scared my family ( we thought the tire tread was coming off) and disintegrated. Is it importand that I install a new one? A mechanic told me that most of this plastic parts under the car do not do much, but I am agesd or rust, insects, squirrels etc. I live in SC and the van gets parked in the driveway.

It's called the inner fender liner, if it were the driver side id say just let it be, but since it's the pass side I'd replace it, the washer tank/pumps are right there, the liner is added protection for them, also helps keep water and road salt off the pumps and wiring. Go to www.rockauto.com they have them extremely cheap.

Thanks. I will go look.
It just occurred to me, we just had the timing belt changed. Do you think the mechanic would have had to remove the inner fender? This is a new place, we also took our civic there, and on that one the plastic covers under the car are falling off!
