VTM-4 fluid replacement for 03 pilot
hey guys, im looking to change the vtm 4 fluid on my 03 pilot 3.5L , the task seems quite easy, but just for reference how much fluid do i need? should i just buy it from a auto parts store or go to honda? where do you put the fluid in? i know its somewhere in the cargo area. anyone done this before? is there anything thing i should worry about or double check before doing so?
thanks dudes

he is using the correct terminology its you who is lost..
VTM-4 fluid from honda comes in 1 gallon bottles, buy one of them and get the crush washers.
break top bolt loose first on the rear end
break loose the bottom bolt
let all fluid drain
clean off bottom drain bolt install new washer and tighten
fill fluid till comes out of fill hole, this can be the tricky part but mightyvac makes a tool for it or you can use a hose from the bottle to the through the cap and squeeze into the rear diff which involves dropping the spare tire down to have room to do so or honda sells a hand pump tool, or go the route most people go in the shop an use a oil syringe
install new washer and tighten top bolt and clean off excess that spilled out on the case
