Default 1998 CRV IACV problem

I replaced the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve) after getting a check engine light on my 1998 CRV. First I cleaned it, works for a month and then check engine light came back again. After 1week of replacing IACV, check engine light came back and the same code, IACV. Is there anything else I should replace or clean? Thank you in advance.

Pull the connector out of the IAC Valve, see if that changes anything (It should start to fluctuate). If not, then there's a few possibilities. First is that you may have gotten a faulty IAC valve, or you have a bad wiring to/from the PCM somewhere, or a sensor that feeds into the IAC has possibly gone bad (vss, intake air temp sensor, a/c sensor, etc.) The PCM takes input from each of these sensors and adjusts your idle accordingly.

Also, check for any vacuum leaks. Spray a can of TB cleaner around vac hoses, especially elbows, and see if that changes anything with your idle.

If none of those, it could be a bad throttle body, which isn't likely but possible.

Turn Ign off
Disconnect harness from IAT sensor
Measure resistance between the terminals
Compare with chart below:

If it's not within spec, it may be faulty.

im getting this same code and from what ive been reading. its very common. but mine might be a special case. i have a 1997 integra ls (b18b1)
and i upgraded to greddy headers, a skunk2 intake manifold and 70mm blox throttlebody. now im just about 150% positive that the headers are not causing any problems. im sure you know that. my problem is that my car when fired up cold will idle at like 200-400 rpms. i just hold the rpm"s at 800 for a second or 2 and it generally stays there. but the car runs just fine. but sometimes when i stop at a red light, my idle is at about 1100 to 1300 and my check engine light pops on. if i start to accelerate the car will move but will jerk back and stutter and go and act all messed up. as soon as i shut the car off and turn it back on. problem solved but still have the check engine of course. the code is the P0505 Idle Control System Malfunction. Ive cleaned the IACV and replaced most hoses. a new breather comes from the top of my Blox throttle body and its T'ed into my PVC hosing. Sometimes my idle will drop from normal to real low and back up but straightens itself up. I cant figure out exactly what the issue might be and im just going for some tips or maybe an answer. sorry for cutting in on your topic, im just too new of a member to make my own posts yet. any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. im worried that this could cause harm to my motor.
