Doing a Subwoofer install on a friends 07 Pilot (I'm a 310K in Ontario, Canada) I'm going to put it in the factory location but when dissasembling the right hand side plastic panel I found an sparsly labled sensor with a harness coming out of it attached to the rear harnes near the right tail lamp assembly.

It has stamped on it in ink TM31, googled it to find nothing.



and it was attached at this point at the back of the plastic panel.



Just wondering what it is, I will put it back where it was when im done but I like mysteries to be solved.

Yes the 06 has the same sensor....it does the two "outer" lights but not the high mount/third brake lamp.
