07 CRV purchased new in January 08. Currently has <7500 miles. Check Engine light is coming on intermittently and more frequently. It happened for the first time about 1 month ago. We hit a patch of uneven pavement on the interstate and the Vehicle Stabilization light came on at the same time as the CEL. The VSA lights went off after we turned the car off an back on, but the CEL light did not. Read the owners manual, tightened the gas cap, and several trips later the light went off.

About 2 weeks later, CEL light came on again, tightened gas cap, and after several trips, light went off.

Now, it has come on again for the last 2 days. Tightened gas cap the first time and it went off, but then it came back on again the next time I drove the car and doesn't want to clear this time. Interestingly, I was driving on cobblestone because of a local detour both times it came on. I had driven the same route frequently several months back though, with no problem.

I'm a little stressed to have check engine issues on such a new vehicle. Taking it to dealer to read the codes today, but I wondered if anyone here had any insight or similar problems on an 07ish car.
