'05 Pilot J35 intake gaskets, reusable?
Neighbor's '05 Pilot(230K miles) is spitting out misfire codes, checked the plugs #2/#4 were less than finger tight. Replaced plugs, rough running and cold start issues went away, but misfire codes came back. I suspect EGR is clogged and/or the valves are in need of adjustment.
Are upper egr plenum cover, upper intake, and valve cover gaskets reusable?
I *think* this year Pilot uses the reusable metal shim gaskets for the plenum and intake but would like confirmation.
Thanks in advance!

I didn't chance it, had to adjust the valves on the '07 last year. Not a fun job getting to the rear valves but I made it through.
Anyway, I went back with new gaskets just to be sure I didn't have to go back in.

Pulled the intake off and the gaskets were MLS gaskets with a permanent ridge in them for sealing. Similar to the EGR manifold gasket on my Accord. I cleaned them up and reused them. No issues.
FWIW, last 'major' service done was at 100Kmiles. EGR ports were all clean, Intake valves were fine, all the exhaust valves had NO clearance. Engine sounded so much better after adjustment.
