Default FS: $3,800 Clean Taffy White 2002 EP3

$3,800 with head-unit, $3,700 with factory unit re-installed. Price is FIRM.

2002 Honda Civic SI, 207,000 miles (original motor and body) NO ACCIDENTS, CLEAN TITLE. Second owner @ 145,000 in January 2008, (bought after my built 96 EK was stolen). Just passed safety and emissions October 2014. Car located in Arlington, VA

Hey guys used to roll around here back in 2004-2007 under the username 96EKHatch (I think that was it). Selling my DD with tasteful mods. I was gathering parts and planning on stripping her down and tracking her on the weekends but I have decided its time to get out of the game. She is one of the cleaner EP3's out there and I haven't abused her at all since it is my DD, I needed the dependability. Regularly performed tune-ups and maintenance were all done by me, car has given me 0 problems, hence the high mileage.

Maintenance performed:

-Valvoline Full Syn High Mileage changed every 5,000 miles.
-Water pump, thermostat and pcv valve: @ 160,000
-Clutch kit, pilot bearing etc, primary and secondary O2's, tranny fluid.. @ 175,000
-Wheel bearings, rotors, pads, plugs and brake/clutch fluid: @ 180,000
-Idler pulley (was making noise), serpentine belt, alternator @ 200,000

The EP:

Suspension/Wheels:

-Tein Super Streets
-Progress 22mm rear sway and brace, (sprayed black)
-Ignalls Rear camber adjuster
-16x7 +20 XXR wheels (sprayed silver)
-205/50/16 Kumho Ecsta AST: Fronts brand new, rears 60% tread left
-Fenders rolled and slightly pulled
-Full Size spare

Engine:

-Replaced the AEM cold air with a stock unit when I purchased it
-Took off the Comptech exhuast and replaced with a stock unit
-Hondata Intake Mani Gasket
-Blox tranny and oil magnetic drain plugs

Lighting/Body:

-Wet sanded headlights and placed clear Lamin-x over the lights, crystal clear and prevents all hazing
-OEM fogs, relay and wiring. Replaced with Yellow Ebay lights, (only the lights themselves when factory units cracked/broke, wiring is still OEM)
-5K HID's
-Weathertech Window Visors
-Debadged all emblems except for the Honda "H" front and rear.

Audio/interior:

-Hidden Pioneer head-unit wired under the passenger seat, wired in Ipod USB and aux cords into center console out of sight. Unit has BlueTooth capability so I would sync with my phone and preset the radio stations and change between BT/FM/CD with the accompanying remote. Makes the dash real clean and keeps away thiefs.
-Pioneer rear speakers.
-Kenwood amp wired to battery and placed under driver seat, not currently in use. Sub cables wired to the rear but again not in use, easy plug and play though.
-Wink mirror will not come with the car, putting it in my truck once sold.
-96 EK shift ****: the only item not picked apart by the thieves who stole my hatch. Best shift **** Honda made IMO.

The Good:

-The EP is mechanically perfect, it does not need any maintenance.
-The motor pulls hard still, no problems getting through traffic/merging.
-Burns no oil
-34 Highway/26 City
-Transmission is smooth as butter and has no grinds.
-AC/Heat both work great.
-Sunroof/Moonroof both work perfectly.
-Seats still hug great and are near perfect except for normal bolster wear and a small wear in the middle of the seat where my wallet lays, about the size of a quarter.
-Comes with two sets of working keys/fobs.

The Bad:

-The electrical locking mechanism inside the drivers door broke, you need to manually use the key to open/lock the door and then use the clicker
-Like all lowered EP's, I have the steering rack squeak, hasn't gotten worse since I bought her.
-I bought the car with a gutted cat that was running the spark plug defouler/O2 simulator trick. I live in an area with emissions, but have passed all testing by running premium gas and going to the shadiest service stations to do my testing. Buyer beware, if you have emissions testing I can't guarantee you'll pass and may need to pick up a stock cat, I've seen them on here for around $200 as people put racing headers on a lot of EPs.
-Car is my DD, so the various chips on the paint are to be expected, the care is rust free except for a small, penny sized portion inside the wheel well, it is not on the body of the vehicle and just needs a sanding and primer/undercoating to prevent future spread, I've just been lazy.
-The passenger side rear quarter panel got dented at the carwash, its slightly pushed in because it lost some rigidity during the fender roll/pull and the aggressive car washers pushed it in, didn't notice it until a couple days later, its hardly noticeable but a fairly large and gradual dent. was quoted $250 to have it fixed but since I was going to track the car I didn't care to fix it.
-The wheels got scratched when the new tires were put on, I complained about how many gouges and scratches were on them because they were flawless before, but they are cheap wheels and sprayed so I really didn't care. One has a slight bend in the lip from the crazy 95 potholes but they all roll straight, smooth and are perfectly balanced.
-Rear window wiper needs a new wiper, I bought a wiper delete and was going to wire my fuel cut-off switch off the switch so I never replaced it. You really don't need it anyway as the hatch doesn't get water on it
-The windshield squirters have a Y-piece in the line that randomly clogs, so wiper fluid doesn't always shoot. It is a $2 part at Honda but again I have been lazy.
-The light in the gauge cluster behind the fuel/thermo just went out, cheap LED that just needs the time to be replaced.
-Wrong Rear main seal was ordered when I replaced the clutch, in turn I didn't replace it when I had everything apart. It sweats which is normal for a high mileage vehicle and I have to refill a half-court of oil about every 2,500-3,000 miles.

Parts that will come with the car if you want.

-All the OEM wheels 15x6 4x100 with tires on them.
-the comptech exhaust: mid pipe is shot with a hole after dropping it, was going to dremel off the flanges and use them to make a custom midpipe/cutout with the axle back. Axle back perfect condition and sprayed black.
-OEM Struts/springs
-Rear Headrests
-Brand Energy Suspension BLACK poly bushing kit
-OEM rear roll bar
-OEM shift ****
-Regular headlight bulbs that I put in when I have a safety inspection

I will post additional pics once I get off work and take some more pics.

I would love for this car to go to a good home, she has treated me well and I would really like another enthusiast to take her and hopefully swap and track her.

Let me know if you have any questions.

My name is Kyle, please text my number if interested (540) 907-8739. I can't have my phone on me during the day because of Uncle Sam but I will get back to you asap.

Again price is fair and FIRM, first person with a check gets her. Car located in Arlington, VA.
