well biggins... the balance shafts keeps the motor from vibrating since it has so much tourque. it helps save the motor mounts but that all can be fixed.. you can fill the motor mounts with polyurethane filler either pre-bought or home made... go to either cb7tuner.com or flaccords.com to check out the DIY's on it... as for boosting im not a big fan... you can pull off sooo much power out of that motor doing an all motor build for about the same pricing that you do a turbo build.... i had my 91 ex coupe with an f22a4 pulling 14.6's in the 1/4 all motor.... just a little tip...lol

off of one of your reply posts about that F22, you said
"4. eliminate your balance shaft belt which will free up a proven up to 8-9 whp... " so what does that bsb do? Why is it there and wouldn't it screw something up over time by not having it there?
I have a stock F22A1 in my 93 4 door - 5 spd. I have tokico blues, with sprint springs. It runs pretty good, but since it's stock, I know it can run much better.
oh, and what's your opinion in boostin' what I have? that is, change the timing belt, and maintenance before hand.
