Technical Question: Wiring 9006 to Power D1S Ballast
So this is my scenario: I have Honda CRX in which I am looking to retrofit with Cadillac CTS/SRX projectors which use D1S bulbs. I purchased the projectors separtely, and then bought D1S bulbs after that, I have not bought the D1S ballasts yet because I need to know what the best/most efficient/effective way to connect my existing 9006 plug to power the D1S ballast.
I've been looking at my existing 9006 plug & play HID kit that I have and the plug that connects from the car's 9006 to ballast (2 prongs) looks like it could plug into the same slot for the D1S ballast; I have never seen a D1S ballast up close so I can not confirm but can someone please chime in on this? If I purchase D1S ballasts and they do not come with a plug with +/- which allows me to wire directly into my existing headlight then where can I buy it? (Assuming I don't buy the ballast in the link below.)
