Default 96/98 Civic Foglight Bulb size

Ive got a pair of these clear square foglights for a 96/98 Civic. Was wondering what the bulb size was so i could change the color to yellow. Ive heard they are h3 but nothing confirmed yet. Also was wondering if it was safe to put HIDs in fogs. Ive heard stories of HIDS melting the plastic before. Oh they look like these:

Dude just look at the bulb those came with. On the base, there should be a print that says either H1 or H3 or other type of bulb. According to that, you buy your HID kit

If the space is enclosed and small, even a halogen bulb will melt it.
That's why most are fog kits are built out of steel. And, only big housings are built with plastic.
BTW, those look like h3 bulbs. However, you'd want to contact the seller.
