YEA IT CAN FIT BUT YOU'VE GOTTA SWITCH IT TO MANUAL YOURE GONNA NEED A MANUAL TRANSMISSION AS WELL AS A CLUTCH&FLYWHEEL AND THROWOUT BEARING THEN YOU NEED A MOUNT KIT FUEL RAIL AND FUEL LINE KIT YOUR GONNA NEED SHIFTER AND LINKAGE KIT YOU ALSO NEED K-SWAP HEADERS AND A K-SWAP WIRING KIT AND A K-SWAP AXLE KIT YOU GONNA NEED A 1996 CIVIC DX THROTTLE CABLE AND YOURE ALSO GONNA NEED A ECU YOU CAN RUN STOCK OR A AFTER MARKET SUCH AS HONDATA OR AEM YOURE GONNA NEED A NEW CLUTCH LINE .

If it has the stock motor keep it stock and wait till value increses ur just loosing value swapping in a motor also you're loosing money its already an automatic to spend money for the tranny swap and engine swap is not worth A FWD HONDA
