Hey chaps, i need some advice,

i'm looking to build up a K24 for a mk2 escort I'm restoring. for reasons i can explain in more detail later on, i wish to build up an engine with a high pressure fuel pump, and noticed the K24W2/3 are coming with these.

the issue i have is the engine with the HPFP also seems to be designed with an integrated exhaust manifold, which will restrict flow a fair amount

basically i'd like to know if the cams/HPFP can be retrofitted to an older head, say off an A engine, or if honda make a direct injection engine that doesn't have the integrated exhaust manifold

Highly doubt the older k motor cams would physically fit, and even if it did there's no lobes to drive the hpfp. Also every k24 after like 2009 has the homoerotic single exhaust port.
