This is a never ending debate with everyone riding the sack of their oil of choice. You'll get no solid answer here, just the popular choices.

Run whatever you want, just change it regularly. Go over to bobistheoilguy.com and start reading used oil analysis and make an informed decision.

^^^Listen to this man. There is no "best" oil. There is a company called Blackstone Industries that will send you out an empty bottle, test your oil in a lab, then send back a report stating what elements (i can't think of the right word) are too high or too low in your oil, and write a brief description telling you what's going on inside your engine. For 30 bucks this information is INVALUABLE. I personally use Pennzoil Platinum based on my UOA report but i cannot unfortunately find the sheet to show you. Like doood said, go on bobistheoilguy.com and look under the "used oil analysis" section.

I also agree with these 2 guys and definitely get a used oil analysis. The results you get will help determine your oil choice and oil change interval. With that said, I was able to run Amsoil 5w-30 in my stock B-series Civic for 15k miles. Blackstone recommended I could go even longer but I decided to change it out. To this day I still use the same oil but instead change oil every 10k miles just for peace of mind and because I get bored when I don't do something on my car.
