K20 Swap Intera LS
Hey guys I have a question that has probably even answered more than once but I can't find exactly what I'm looking for. But for the car, I plan on buying an Integra LS soon before I ship for the Marine Corps, and either while I'm on leave or after my service and I'm competely done I plan on K20 swapping it, BUT I have neither the tools nor the knowledge of how to do so. SO if I were to have somebody swap a K20 for me, and do all the work, how much would it cost TOTAL including labor, misc. parts, and the engine and tranny combined. Thanks in advance and give me any tips you can!

Re: K20 Swap Intera LS
I would honestly say 10k at that least for all the parts and paying a shop to do it for you. Not including the cost of the car of course. If you were doing it at home it would be cheaper but you don't know what to do. My honest opinion is that if you don't understand how your car works and some shop builds it for you, when and if it has small problems down the road it will always be expensive repairs. most garages don't even get the concept of a swapped engine much less know where to order parts other than advance auto, o riellys, or napa.
