i see alot of a3's going for cheep if u wanna pick up a block and work it up... dunno what you want to do.

Yeah, even a shitty A3 pulls an impressive 160HP/141FT-lbs of torque . With a cam and maybe a different it could easily get the same HP as the other real VTEC motors.

yea i mean its nothing great, but its something to build off of if your on a budget.. or just want a Kseries. i see complete a2 blocks on craigs for like 350 or so... find a head and random sensors and stuff.. im sure you can find a budget build if your resourcefull.

There is a way to put a OEM vtec killer setup in the A3 motors, they put down some impressive number too (around 200ish).

Yeah its not much different, depending on what mounts you use (cause you may need to swap out subframes with an EG/DC), and you dont have to cut any mounts off.

Hey Nikos i have a question. I have read many guides on k swaps, and part lists ect. and most if not all are EG/DC related. Id like to know what the correct part list for an EK would be, or if u have a link to one it would be greatly appreciated, ty.

Question, what are you using for suspension and to get better traction? I have a stripped eg hatch with a k20a2.

Mods: j- crew header, full 3" catback, type r cams, ported head, valve springs and retainers, rbc manifold bored to 70mm as well as TB bored to 70mm, stock suspension, kpro on a street tube

I can't seem to get any traction until I'm in 3rd. Any ideas?
